예수 그리스도께서는 자신을 인자(人子, Son of Man)라고 표현하셨습니다.
인자(人子, Son of Man)라는 표현은 극심한 반대에 부딪쳤던 사람의 어머니(Anthropotokos, ἀνθρωποτόκος) 라는 표현을 지지하지만 그리스도를 낳은 분(Christotokos, Χριστοτόκος)이라는 표현도 지지합니다.
